ALLEL. A living light, eternal love. The name of Jhené Aiko’s new brand, with a purpose to provide just that. Launched on 2.22, to a some, a magical number, Jhené has released a sound bath collection of tools to support a loving and uplifting life.

Jhené Aiko recently became a first time mother. Coincidentally enough, the term allele is generally referenced to a child carrying a similar gene from both of their parents. In this case, allel, is an abbreviation for the brand’s mantra: a living light, eternal love.

Sound baths are a form of meditation where attendees will listen and relax to sound waves. Jhené Aiko has designed her own collection of bowls that consumers can purchase, to practice their own sound baths. Prices appear to range from the $700s-$3,000s, pending on the textiles and the kits you are interested in. With dozens of options available, many of the styles have already sold out online, in less than one week.
