French Montana & Harry Fraud Bricks & Bags FT Jadakiss & Benny the Butcher 6.22.22

French Montana is dropping album Montega this Friday, and shared it’s first gem with us this morning. Bricks & Bags is a new single from the project with big features Jadakiss and Benny the Butcher, produced by Harry Fraud. The track could be the hip-hop summer hit, while bringing home a clear message.

The dynamic on this new track is something special. Each artist can (and should) be recognized as a leader of their own lane. Leader of the old school, the new school, producers and king of the hit record. French takes us back to the beginning of Coke Boyz days, where each artist says they should have signed to Coke Boyz, but were too busy in the streets instead.

Clearly, each artist has made plenty of success for themselves with whichever path they have chose for themselves. It is cool, though, to see them all ride for French’s label, even though French himself mentions a few other ways he could have gone with his career. Of course, there is also that powerful hidden message for the youth to do better, which is huge with how much violence has been terrorizing the culture as of late.

This track is so exciting to hear. I love the artists dynamic and am sure this will be a huge summer hit. That is definitely what French does best, so I am excited for the rest of the album to drop this Friday.
