50 Cent

50 Cent

A man whom was once one of the top hip-hop artists in the game, is now known as one of the biggest trolls on the internet. It seems like wherever there is drama, 50 Cent finds it and reacts to it. Whether it be new kids in hip-hop, older generations, actors, artists, woman, and now apparently family and mentors, 50 Cent is down to troll anybody. While having words in regards to Dr. Dre’s messy divorce situation, 50 Cent received serious clap backs from Dre’s daughter, Truly.

Dr. Dre’s divorce has been in the media for the past several weeks. It continues to get messier, as his soon to be ex-wife, Nicole Young, asks for two million dollars in monthly support and claims Dre was violent in their relationship in the past, and tore up their prenup. Their daughter is old enough where she cannot take child support, but was able to break down the means of her two million dollar request.

-- Laundry and cleaning $10,000 a month

-- Clothes $135,000 a month

-- Education (tuition and living expenses) $60,000 a month

-- Entertainment $900,000 a month

-- Charitable contributions $125,000 a month

-- Mortgage. $100,000 a month

-- Telephone, cell phone, e-mail $20,000 a month

These numbers still seem to be widely outrageous, but this is a lifestyle I do not share. Still, the couple continues to battle amongst one another, where Dre claims that Nicole was previously writing checks to herself and stealing money from Dre.

Now, most people that would be on Dr. Dre’s side, would probably give a call, ask him how things are going and offer up any help they can offer. Well, 50 Cent is a bit of different breed. While it may be fair to say by his comments that he disagrees with Nicole and is on Dre’s side, he does it in a way that questions respect and loyalty.

50 Cent had posted, and since deleted a screen shot image of a photo of Dre’s family and the headline of Nicole requesting two million dollars a month. Not only is he continuing to spread the negative struggles and narrative of his mentor, but his caption is distasteful to the ladies of the family.

These b***es be crazy, how do you even ask for 2 million a month.

Truly, Dre’s daughter responds to this comment in length.

Haha…coming from an ugly, washed up, early 2000s rapper who filed for bankruptcy and is only envious of my family’s wealth and lifestyle. Have fun spending the rest of your savings on steroids. F*** you.

A bit aggressive, and does sound like someone who would also be asking for two million in this situation. However, when someone comes for your family, especially during difficult times, I get it.

Truly also came for Xzibit, after a mere “Wtf???” message. In my opinion, Xzibit’s comment could have gone either way. He could be shocked she is asking for this much money, or he could be shocked that 50 would post this about someone who did so much for him. Whatever way he did mean this, Truly took offense and also shared a big old “F*** you in the comments.”

Truly shared screen shots of both instances to her Instagram Story, along with a long note for Curtis. She is unhappy that 50 Cent called her mother a b***, and goes on to say that these marketing schemes are disgusting, and that 50 Cent is a low life. Quite frankly, these words are much harsher than the one liner that 50 Cent shared. Should he have minded his own business? Absolutely, but Truly is just clearly hurt right now.

While I am dying to know how Dre feelings about the debacle, 50 Cent found a way to quietly acknowledge the messages, then tap out. 50 shares a photo of himself in a blue suit, cigar in one hand, staring at his phone in the other. This is the second photo from this shoot in a row, the first one solely acknowledging STARZ. The second post, staring at his phone proplexed, is captioned “Dr. Dre’s daughter just told me to shut the f** up. LOL” Later in the comments, 50 Cent adds,

Nah no clap back i’m gonna need Dre to make the beats, new music coming soon.

So, it does not seem that 50 Cent is too harmed by Truly’s comments, and assumes that Dre would feel the same about his initial post. I am sure Dre could use some time in the studio to clear his head of all of this drama. Though, I am not so sure we need anymore 50 Cent. It will definitely be interesting to see what the duo works up in the studio, if Dre is still willing to work with 50 after all of this.
