21 Savage, Usher, Summer Walker

Earlier this month, Usher released a new single with Summer Walker and 21 Savage. Usher being a legend in R&B, and Summer Walker holding R&B down for the current decade, alongside a fan favorite like 21 Savage, was a massive line for the single. Today, they released the music video that is truly just as entertaining. I mean, this trio, it’s Good Good.

With the current state of R&B and questioning what is left of it, this was a pretty fun song. The concept of not being “Good, Good” with your ex, but still wishing them the best. What is the need for the hate and negativity, when we can just wish you the best, away from? It was a fun concept, and the video carried that same energy.

Each artist had their own scenes, and showed up as a trio of themselves. Three Ushers, three summers, then three 21 Savage. At certain parts of the video, it appears they may have dressed in wardrobe representing their old selves, when the relationship did not work, the highlighted them in their new looks, where they are non-bitter exes. Usher showed off his dance moves that we all know and love, Summer lounged like a Queen on her thrown as she belted her thoughts in her incredible voice, and 21 Savage brought a serious flow to a meaningful song, with a few punchlines that made it totally him: catchy and fun.

The video is currently trending at #4 on YouTube with 325,000 views in nine hours. Hopefully we get to see more from these guys, together and on their own. This is a R&B hit for sure.

Usher has released another new song last week, so there is potential for an album to be released soon.
