Jack Harlow Vibes
5.12.21
Last week, it was reported that Jack Harlow escaped gun fire after a night out at Vibes Restaurant and Ultra Lounge in Kentucky. Now, it is being reported that the man behind the weapon, was actually Jack Harlow’s DJ, Ronnie Tyshon O'Bannon. Ronnie is now being charged for murder and tampering with evidence. Kentucky has been put on the map greatly since Jack Harlow, and now EST Gee. It is unfortunate to hear such news from this camp, after so much recent success.
Jack Harlow dropped his debut album at the bottom of 2020, and has continued his success. From being a XXL Freshman, to dropping features with legends, new and old, Harlow has earned his spot in the hip-hop game. He is even getting some lines of credit for putting on the latest hip-hop artists from Kentucky, EST Gee. EST Gee recently inked a deal with Yo Gotti and CMG, after his premier single on Harlow’s album.
Ronnie began Doing for Jack Harlow on his first tour back in 2018. They seem to have a great relationship, as they have been seen on each other’s Instagram pages over the years. Ronnie is said to also have been a producer, and produced his own music in the past. Ultimately, it was Ronnie himself who turned himself in to authorities after a warrant was out for his arrest, after the events taken place at Vibes.
Right now, the details are thin. Allegedly, an altercation took place between Ronnie and another man at the lounge, when shots were fired. The man was taken to the hospital, with non-life-threatening injuries. However, a young mother whom was working on her shift was hit and did not survive. Now, Ronnie faces murder charges as well as tampering with evidence on the case. He currently has a bond of $500,000 but will be expected back in court later this week.
Both instances are a tragedy. To loose a loved one to violence, and to see a loved one do something so senseless, when you could have rose together. I see no set backs to Jack Harlow. But quite unfortunate that this is the reason for him being in the news this week.
