Lil Uzi Vert Just Wanna Rock 10.17.22

Lil Uzi Vert is overdue for some new music, but is that what the fans were expecting? Just Wanna Rock is Uzi’s latest musical release, and while the title certainly feels like a Lil Uzi song, the sound, is different.

Around mid-day on Monday, Uzi’s team dropped a visualizer for the track on YouTube. The album artwork resembles a huge rock-and-roll crowd, perhaps crowd-surfing into an alien abduction. The beat is a pretty electronic-techno, if I could guess. Uzi’s sound is extremely auto-tuned, with little lyrics at all, other than I Just Wanna Rock.

We always knew Lil Uzi Vert as a rockstar, but is this what fans wanted? We are waiting for a new project from Uzi, The Pink Tape, so we will soon find out if this is a new style of artistry from Uzi. So far, it does appear that the fans are into whatever it is that Lil Uzi Vert is doing. However, if this is anything like the Eternal Atake roll out, he’ll be back on track with his comical lyrics and shoulder moving flows by the time we get the album.
