Another day, another Kanye West Twitter rant. It appears Kanye is back in good graces with his wife and the family. With that, it really means back to business. This past week, Kanye has been back on Twitter showing us all the new designs he has been putting together, including images of where the inspiration for the piece has came from. Every single one of these pieces will leave you in shock, or better yet, question.

First thing is first, the Presidential Election merchandise. Though Ye’s rally did not go over so well, he still believe he can win the election. Kanye even went as far ahead to say that he can win off of write-ins, alone. This is an interesting theory because we all know how Donald Trump feels about the write-in votes. Obviously since West wants to run for President, he would also be up against his good pal Trump, but he has shared some differences in opinions.

Of course, there needs to be merchandise for sale if Ye is really going to be running for President. Also, did you really vote for Kanye West if you do not literally wear it on your sleeve? Kanye posts the below photo of Rihanna ‘Vision Street Wear’ graphic tee. Ye took this design almost exactly to make his ‘Kanye 2020 Vision’ t-shirts. Additionally, he shares the ‘Kanye 2020 Vision’ dad cap. It looks like a similar style to the MAGA hat, but purple instead of red. It looks a little goofy, but I am sure it was meant to be that way.

Classic of Kanye, taking cues from other iconic moments but making them just different enough to not be a legal issue. Slap his name on it, and you have some designer t-shirts. I do not see this merchandise currently on his own webpage, but I am sure it will not be long.

Next, let us talk about these bags. I am not sure if Kanye went finishing the other day, but he seems to be inspired by the ocean and certain objects you use to venture through. The tweets begin with what appears to be a paddle board, of some sort. West Tweets the color got him inspired. The next photo, simply labeled ‘D Ring,’ and the final, ‘I caught this wave yesterday.’

I thought that was a play on words. It was in the water, and caught the wave. Could have also caught a fish. But anyways, moving on to what these pieces inspired him to create. A sketch drawn digitally on the art app, followed by three duffle bag renditions labeled ‘waterproof.’

The sketch is so poor, that Jordan could come rip off these ideas just like they did with Khawi’s logo, but do not tell them I said that. The first image below looks pretty odd, almost like it might be a flotation device rather than a bag. However, the other two duffle bags are cool. I would also say something that is needed. If you are out on a jetski, boat, etc. it would be to have a waterproof bag to keep your phone and wallet in. If Yeezy were to come out with an outdoors brand like L.L Bean or Colombia, but more fashion focused, I think it could go over well for the wealthy. It also does make sense with where he is living in Wyoming and becoming all sorts with nature. I do not know. I am not going to hate on this other than the sketch and random floating device.

Finally, let’s get into the Yeezys. So Ye has hinted at a number of new prototypes over the past week or so. There is an apparent Derrick Rose collab dropping that looks like a ribbed clog more than anything. I am not really sure if those are feasible to walk throughout your day in, but I would say I see a similar inspiration from the clogs he previously dropped, which I think did pretty well overall.

He shared color wheels of old product. New colorways we have yet to see before. Process photos and drawings of shapes, and prototypes that are just absolutely absurd.

The new prototype that has the world going crazy, is represented below. It looks like a volcano that you put your foot in. This shoe, could give me several inches, maybe more. Though, I am not sure if I could stand in these. For some reason I feel like I am going to put my feet in and just timber over, falling forwards, though, that could be the allusion of the upper.

I think this is a boot, with a giant casing over. The cover makes the upper more smooth, with holes that do represent the design from the Yeezy Clog. I like the color ways, the textures, I like the design overall. But, this is not a wearable shoe. People are probably going to call me crazy for saying I am with it at all, but this is just fashion. If he came out with another Yeezy that we’ve seen before, who would care? Everyone and their grandmothers have Yeezys at this point. You will only make a splash in fashion, if you scare and/or, upset some people.

Is this thing wearable, and is it coming to life? We will have to stay tuned. However, you are all paying attention yet again, to Kanye West. Maybe we will finally get Donda this Friday.
