We have known Lil Uzi Vert to be a sucker for love, for quite some time now. His tweets almost always tend to go viral, and he has expressed both love and heartbreak feelings on his page many times. Uzi’s cult-like fans know and love Brittany, a longtime girlfriend from prior to Uzi’s fame and fortune. However, things are certainly getting a bit messy, with the industry ladies.

Lil Uzi Vert’s relationship with his long-time girlfriend Brittany has been back and forth for the past several years that Uzi has been in the limelight. There was a short period of time where we knew Uzi was dating Dream Doll, but that was very short lived. Fans loved the true love story, and always kept Brittany as their priority love interest for their emotional rapper friend, Uzi.

Now, there is another love interest, which has already outlasted the length of what we know of Dream Doll and Uzi had, and that is with City Girls artist, JT. Rumors of the two dating had sparked sometime back in 2020. JT turned twenty-eight in December, and Uzi had allegedly upgraded her G-Wagon for her as a birthday gift. JT said she “asked” for a matte black warp, and the car came back completely upgraded with a brand new Brabus kit, which typically costs around $150,000.

At the time, JT denied any rumors of dating or romantic involvement with Uzi, however it seems like the denying is over. Or, that they both just play too much. Each of the hip-hop artists have been quite active on Twitter, responding to each other, and sharing clear hints that the two are certainly a couple. Uzi would tweet something like “Turnt a hoe to a house wife” and JT would respond with her version, “Turnt a trick to my husband.” When Uzi would tweet something like “I only love myself,” JT would respond and say her too. It could just be that it is too early for these two to drop the “love” word, but where or where did Brittany go?

Not so fast, Mr. In-His-Feelings. Brittany must have gotten wind of all the tweets and rumors that were going around, and wanted to put an end to it, quickly. This Instagram Story was not up for long, but most definitely long enough for plenty of screen shots to have been captured, and taken to the Twitter Threads where Uzi was claiming JT was “the one.” Brittany shared her own screenshot with messages from a contact “Vert.” Of course, these were messages from Uzi that he was sending to Brittany. The length was as long as a full iPhone screen length, and he literally said “we are still together. I didn’t buy her anything, I don’t even talk to her.” Now, we can not be sure at all when these messages were sent to Brittany, but it seems like an ongoing pattern that when Brittany gets fed up and wants to leave, Uzi does all he can to keep her, or at least blows up her phone until she responds.

Now that fans have captured this screen recording, they are calling Uzi out on his bluff left and right, regarding whether or not he truly believes JT is the one. They are going to ride for Brittany, because of the genuine connection they saw. Now, one fan specifically said “I think you’re letting the wrong one go” and Uzi then responded to this fan suggesting “I had to be real with myself, I love JT and y’all will 2.” This definitely is Uzi acknowledging the fact that his fans were riding for Brittany and him, but Uzi is now asking them to follow him to his new relationship. However, pending on when these texts were sent to Brittany, which seem like it was a recent and most definitely relevant conversation, it could be an act of a wounded heart.

But aside from that, can we break down the part where he said he “never bought her anything?” Okay the G-Wagon was a birthday present, they are friends in the industry, sure, I will let you have that. But, how about this ring that JT posed wearing? JT shared several photos on her Twitter, that were basic, mirror-selfie photos, with a massive ring on her finger. There were large silver diamonds all the way around, and one massive pink stone in the middle. Not only does this stone match the one that Uzi recently implanted in his forehead, but Elliante The Jeweler posted a video of the ring, and tagged Uzi in it. This is most definitely the same ring, and it either belongs to Uzi, or Uzi gifted it to JT. JT did share a Tweet that Uzi stole her favorite scarf, so maybe we can give them the benefit of the doubt and say she is just “borrowing it” but I do not know, things seems to be pretty legit between the two of them.

In another recently deleted Tweet, JT posted an image of a crazy, holographic looking purse and commented “I would not let up until I got this bag.” Of course, we are all assuming that Uzi bought her the purse. She shared another tweet that said “post the purse but not the purchaser.” Okay JT, you ain’t that slick, we know who you’re asking to buy you things! Lil Uzi also shared a post about a purse, saying “Don’t act like I didn’t buy you your first Birkin.” Fans went a little stir crazy by this, but JT backed him up.

Can this be true love? Is Uzi using this as a distraction from heartbreak? Is JT using this for nice things? I think JT could buy her own nice things, I have got to be team Brittany, as well, but I do hope that JT does not get hurt in this whole situation-ship.
