It has been weeks since Tekashi 6ix9ine has been released early from prison. I truthfully have been wondering, where is this man’s new music? Remember when Gucci Mane finally got out of prison and he put a song out that day? What about all these kids that are doing verses over the phone, putting out music while they’re behind bars. That is the grind I want to see. I’m not a fan of 6ix9ine or his music, but if you’re going to be about it, it’s way past go time.

Over the weekend, a snippet has been leaked of an apparent new song. TopFloorNews shared the clip in a Tweet, of a new Tekashi 6ix9ine track titled BENTLY. In typical 6ix9ine fashion, a one word title in all caps. As you listen to the snippet, there are sound watermarks all over, so you’ll need to block that out. While the song is called ‘Bently’, we hear 6ix9ine mention a Rolls Truck, and that he does not give a f**k. The sound is him yelling on the track, rhyming the same pattern over and over again. It sounds like, 6ix9ine is doing exactly what he said by picking up right where he left off.

Tekashi 6ix9ine has yet to comment on the snippet or give any further information on music release dates. However, we are aware that he is working on two albums - one English album, and one Spanish album.

The hip-hop world is giving 6ix9ine a lot of backlash, after being dubbed a snitch during his trial. It does not seem like 6ix9ine will be letting this impact his releasing of music. It’ll be interesting to see if his music continues to top charts the way it did before he went to prison. I’m going to say that there are certain DJs who won’t play his music. There will be hip-hop heads who will not listen to his music. However, I think the new generation is going to give him a pass, and keep giving him the numbers he is looking for. For me personally, I’m going to listen to it once to see what it sounds like, then never again. So far, it doesn’t seem to be anything new.
