Nicki Minaj is gearing up to drop her new album, and as if the Barbz already could not ask for anything more, she hinted an additional surprise was in the works. Today, Vogue released their piece The Art of Being Nicki Minaj.
From the first sentence of the article, you could hear Nicki’s sense of humor. The intro took what is going on in the world, as they scaled it down towards what is going on in Nicki’s world. She discussed her music-making process. Not just writing, but listening, and requesting feedback in the studio. She talked about being a mother, and how no matter what she did, would always have mom-guilt. Therefore. deciding to jump back into music which would at least be an outlet for her.
The Vogue photoshoot included several stunning and all very different wardrobes for Nicki. One of them, even including Papa Bear. Nicki Minaj shared a few shots from the photoshoot on Instagram, and expressed her utmost attitude for Vogue for the opportunity.
