NLE Choppa Foreshadows Trouble

NLE Choppa, Famous Dex

NLE Choppa and Famous Dex may not be outwardly best friends, but recent events would lead to believe that they are friends on the top of each other’s minds. While NLE is definitely getting more radio plays than Dex, they both come from a similar area of hip-hop, and have previously done a show together overseas. Most recently, NLE Choppa has been using his Twitter account to spread peace and positivity. In doing so, he asks for help for his friend Famous Dex.

The music from NLE Choppa is not even close to being positive and spiritual. Quite frankly, his music is usually about guns and violence. However, according to NLE, he has been taking this time since quarantine to become more connected with his inner peace. He has been doing yoga and taking good care of himself, while begging his friends in the space to do the same thing.

Over this past weekend, NLE Choppa put out a Tweet in regards to Famous Dex. NLE was asking Dex’s label to help him, or bring someone around whom would help him and his drug problem. While publicly outing him for this on social media may not seem like the right move to many, it does appear that NLE has his best interests in mind, and after what has transpired since then, has shown us that someone should act soon. It may, in fact, already be too late.

After seeing this tweet, I wanted to see what was going on. It is not like Famous Dex is constantly putting out new music left and right. The only time I ever see or hear from him is when he posts a new random girl on his page everyday with barely any clothes. So, I go to his Instagram page and he has tons and tons of stories. Him and his friends are all in a car smoking something quite large. They go to a club, get back in the car and do the same thing. This time, Dex has a huge weapon on his lap, in the air for everyone to see. At this point in time, he sounds pretty incoherent. Later that night, around three in the morning, it is just him and one girl in his car.

Famous Dex responded to the Tweet a day or two later. He basically says:

“At least someone cares. He did not say anything wrong. At least he cares and I appreciate the love. It’s just, the world is on drugs, and I look just fine.”

So, it is apparent that Famous Dex is not upset with NLE Choppa for his words. He frankly, may agree with him. But he is clearly not in the right place to do anything about it. Unfortunately, what NLE and many friends alike were afraid of, it seems that things did take a turn for the worse, rather quickly.

Famous Dex is currently a suspect in a domestic violence case, after a SWAT team had raided his house, just yesterday morning. Allegedly, one friend had called the police regarding a domestic violence case that had happened at Dex’s house. The report from TMZ said that one woman was hurt, and the man was armed with at least one weapon. There have been multiple videos posted for the world to see, of Famous Dex playing with his weapons openly and freely, so the police were already aware of what they were getting into, as they had brought in the SWAT team.

When law enforcements arrived on the scene, they had found the victim, with multiple cut wounds. They had anticipated Famous Dex had barricaded himself on the property, but were unable to locate him at this time. Currently, Famous Dex is listed as a suspect in a domestic violence case, in which is still being investigated. If they find Famous Dex, realize he is the assaulter, and find all his weapons and drugs, this could get much worse for Dex. Especially with all of the crazy, horrible things happening to hip-hop lately, we need to protect everyone.

Hopefully, Dex and his team are realizing the NLE Choppa’s words of wisdom were no joke, and that they need to get him straightened out, immediately.
