The Game The Documentary

Today marks the 18th anniversary of The Game releasing his album, The Documentary. Game’s sophomore album is certified double platinum and the United States, and platinum in many others. The Game’s tribute on social media, gave praise to those whom helped him get where he is today.

The Documentary is sure to be one of The Game’s most iconic pieces of work, with hits like Hate it Or Love It and Westside Story. While appreciating the anniversary of his great body of work, The Game honored a few people, and one or two that may surprise you, especially.

18 years ago today…. A hip hop classic was born. All I wanted to do was tell my story & make sure my son would never live the life I did. @snoopdogg passed me the torch, @bustarhymes kept me focused… @drdre laid the foundation & @50cent helped put the puzzle together.

I took @jonathanmannion to the depths of Compton, California & showed him the heart of what I survived. He captured the essence of my city, my hood & brought to the world my vision.

Always remember, it is no longer a dream once it becomes reality.

It is common knowledge that 50 Cent and The Game had a bad falling out, and they really never got it together. While it seems like almost two decades later, they should be able to coincide with one another, The Game expressed how hurt he felt about being left out of the Super Bowl Half Time performance last year that included Dr Dre, 50 Cent, Eminem, Snoop Dogg, and others. While it seemed like there would never be positive words about the crew again, Game shares appreciation for Snoop, Dre and 50, whom we especially are surprised to see.

The Game also just shared an appreciate post for the birthday of the mother of his son, so maybe he is just in a friendly mood today. However, we did recently speak about a G Unit reunion, so, could the drama be mended amongst the two top contenders?
