This weekend, Swizz Beatz and Timbaland went live to discuss Verzuz, “Season 3.” It sounds like this could be sooner than we think, as the two have discussed Timbaland and Justin Timberlake having something together in the works, as well as some rumors about Diddy Verzuz Jermaine Dupri, and more.

What started during the pandemic to keep the peoples spirits high as form of entertainment, has now become a global business adventure for Swizz and Timbaland. During their Instagram Live over the weekend, the two asked consumers who they wanted to see in Season 3 of Verzuz, announcing that they’d be back soon, that they still have complete ownership of Verzuz, and that they have only just begun.

Some of the pairs the crowd requested to see was Outkast Verzuz Tribe Called Quest, Usher Verzuz Chris Brown, No Limit Verzuz Young Money, and more. A few that stood out would be Diddy Verzuz Jermaine Dupri, which was previously shared as rumor to actually be going down this September 8th at Madison Square Garden. Another one, being T.I. Verzuz Rick Ross. T.I. has been someone that has been discussed many times in the Verzuz chatter, but never with an opponent ready to go. Swizz mentioned, however, that Rick Ross said he wants T.I. Ross has previously complete a Verzuz against 2 Chainz so would be familiar with how to handle his hits. T.I., has hits for multiple decades and would be fun to see finally get his chance in the Verzuz arena. Finally, Swizz shared that Timbaland and Justin Timberlake have something very special they are working on, which would be full circle after some negative JT comments were made Swizzy back in 2021.
