It has been just over two years since the murder of XXXTentacion. Four men were arrested for the murder of X, and they are actually all due to see a judge, together, this upcoming May 15th. Requesting all of them together has been an interesting topic of discussion. Perhaps the court has what they need now to properly book them all for the stalking and murdering of the rapper.

However, life in jail and court have been quite different since the coronavirus has struck. It is possible that this date gets moved back, and also possible for the release of another dangerous inmate. Dedrick Williams is accused for the killing of XXXTentacion. The day after his murder, Williams posted on Instagram a photo of himself smiling in front of his car with the caption “do not piss me off, you never know what’s next.” Clearly, this is a threatening post that got him locked up quite quickly. Now, Williams is writing to say that he is scared for his life, and is asking for a bond to be released from prison.

We have already seen 6ix9ine become released on house arrest, for the remainder of his term. This really is only a few months earlier, and we don’t think 6ix9ine himself is actually dangerous. He is more of a danger to himself, than anything. YNW Melly has been denied bail, as he awaits to be tried for the death penalty. Some state prisons are doing better than others, though the consensus remains to release prisoners that are in danger of the disease, if they are locked up on non-violent charges, such as marijuana. At the Marion Correctional Institution of Ohio, 73% of inmates tested positive for the coronavirus. In Oregon, there are no reported cases, however only 17 inmates have been tested, where thousands, remain behind bars.

With a pending court date coming up in just a few weeks, involving a premeditated murder, stalking, robbery, driving without a license, amongst many other things, it seems unlikely Williams will be granted his request for release. However, he pleads his case, asking for a release, even if it means he remains on house arrest until the disease blows over. Williams states he is afraid for his life, because his immune system is very weak. He also mentions that a deputy at the Broward County main jail recently gave an inmate the coronavirus, and that they are not testing any of the inmates. Later, he adds that he does not want his children to go without their father, or his mother go without her son.

I do think that the deputies and workers at the facilities should be tested, and not allowed to come to work if they do, in fact, carry the disease. I also agree that it makes sense to release prisoners whom were booked on marijuana charges, where they are not a danger to anyone. I do not believe that Williams deserves to be released from prison. Though all four of the boys on trial pleaded not guilty, evidence will soon be revealed.

Williams has not had an easy time while behind bars. Almost right away, reports show Williams was abused and raped in jail. Word on the street, is that Kodak Black was behind these assaults. It would make sense, as they’re both from Florida, Kodak has tight with X, and Kodak definitely knows people in prison. The date of the first assault was also on the day of X’s funeral, so there is something interesting there with that conspiracy.

Things are not looking well for Williams, or his friends. I’m not seeing a release in his near future, but we’ll have to see how this goes.
