The Adidas ZX 8000 "Vieux Lyons," indeed represents the letter V in the ‘A-Z series.’ This style includes purple and gray jacquard fabric on the upper, which is key to the story. The popular, textured fabric design was first created in Vieux Lyons, France, making this the perfect touch the represent the city. Something we do not see on sneakers much, but it works here. The colorblocking seems to be a bit oddly placed, but I do not hate it. I do think you will need to be a true fan of fashion, rather than just sneakers, to truly appreciate this sneaker. I am one of those people, so I actually like it, especially after hearing the back story. However, I have never purchased Adidas so I will save my $140 and admire it from afar.
