The Jordan V ‘Apple Green’ is a release inspired by the 2014 Oregon Ducks Players Edition pairs. This version very clearly does represent the PE style, with a few minor changes. Inside the tongue of the PE pairs read “Air Jordan” and include the Ducks logo on the back heel. On the new version, the tongue reads “Elevate” upside down, and has a Teams Tag on the heel. The colors are just slightly different, as the new release looks a bit brighter in every aspect.
I have honestly always wanted this sneaker, and would love the actual PE version with the duck logo on the heel. Oregon has always been one of my top three favorite teams, I love their crazy uniforms every time, and being home to Nike just feels so elite and special. Not to mention green is my favorite color. If I can grab a pair in my size, I might just have to.
