If you do not know, Bodega is a speaker shop founded in Boston. Kind of Boston’s legacy sneaker place, you had to know about the shop to find it, as it resides behind a nonchalant door. The creative direct of Bodega, Marvin Jason Bynoe, passed away earlier this year. This sneaker pays homage to him, and his legacy.

At a first glance, you may wonder what is going on with this sneaker. The sneaker gives nods to baseball and the emotional connection between sports fandom. Something Bostonians feel quite proud of. The upper consists of a brown distressed leather, just like that of your baseball glove. With black leather ties to close up each of the seems, just as your mit would.

As a Bostonian, a die hard baseball fan and sneaker collector, I feel like this shoe was made for me. I hope I will be able to get my hands on a pair.
