The Boston Marathon has always been an important moment for the city itself, but also the world. People come from all over to run this race, and that goes back many years. Of course, after the tragedy a few years ago, this day represents much more. Concepts teamed up with Adidas to put on a new sneaker in honor of the race. Though the race cannot resume as a normal scheduled event with the coronavirus, many racers are formulating their own routes and ways to run for an important cause.

An amazing cause, without a question. However, I hate this shoe. It looks like it should be for Lance Armstrong when he goes to the moon and plants an America flag calling it ours. The upper that looks like tinfoil is supposed to resemble the recovery blankets runners use to keep warm once their marathon is complete. Of course, the three Adidas stripes are red, white and blue, identifying solidity for our country.

The message is there. I just do not enjoy this shoe.
