Kevin Durant announced the launch of his thirteenth Nike silhouette. The KD13 is special because of the “Zoom Bag” technology at the front of the foot, which acts like a spring board for extra motion. I do not love KD’s, but I think I might like this silhouette over most of the others. To me it overall just looks like a more sturdy, put together, basketball shoe.

Durant is releasing six color-ways of the KD13 over the next month or so, though these two have to be my top favorites. ‘Hype’, lives up to it’s name, with a golden swoosh, gold chains on the upper, and gold accents in the laces. This shoe just feels like royalty, and I don’t think you see this much fun on in-line basketball sneakers. The ‘Chill’ color way also is named spot on, with the true calming colors mixed into the upper and sole. The light green upper is a water-paint technique, almost like the ocean. As the upper connects to the sole, it’s a peach like color that fades into white, like sand. Maybe I’ve been in quarantine for too long, but it reminds me of the beach. Definitely makes you feel, pretty chill.

The four other colors are still pretty good as well. There are a few classic color ways, one with a paint splatter sole, and one that gives me intergalactic vibes. Check out all the color ways below.
