The Nike Air Vapormax is one of the most comfortable sneakers I own. The Air technology around the whole sole is fantastic, and the flyknit uppers make them super lightweight and easy to throw on. The 2020 Flyknit comes in a variety of amazing colors, and is sustainable.
The shoe is composed of 50% recycled content, and can be broken down piece by piece. The VaporMax Air unit itself is 75% recycled in material, the upper uses 67% recycled construction of colorful yarns, the tongues feature 80% recycled foam, Ortholite sockliners amplify comfort despite being 50% recycled, and the TPU at the heel and toe mark 60%.
Nike is making a run at sustainability, and so far are proven they can do so in a way where style is not compensated. The first color way is my absolute favorite, I am have to run away with a pair. I am sure these will do well for the brand and their sustainability mission. I think sustainability is especially important for Vapormax wearers.
