Nike Dunk Low "City Market"

Nike Dunk Low

City Market

Release Date: 3.4.21

Retail: $110

Resell: $450

Before Nike was Nike, they were Blue Ribbon. I think when your order directly from Nike, the package still says it came from Blue Ribbon. The City Market Nike Dunks pay homage to the heritage of Blue Ribbon Sports, and uses industrial rice and coffee bags that are frequently upcycled from urban markets. A healthy design, in the absolute most hypebeast, sneakerhead way to tell a story.

You can see the details in the sneakers, from potato sacks, Ikea shopping bags, lunchbox insulation materials and so much more. The graphics include recycling labels, nutrition facts labels and a note that says “Thank you for caring!” The shoe really combines the idea of going to the market in your city, and slapping it right on the shoe. A Nike Dunk with a cool heritage story is coveted. I would not even be surprised if these started to resell for higher once they officially drop.
