Mamba Week will begin on August 23rd, in honor of the late Kobe Bryant. Of course he was a hero to many, and one that people looked up to on and off the court. During this week, Nike Basketball will launch five color ways of the Nike Kobe V, along with a limited edition jersey.

This silhouette that will launch on the 23rd, is a white, black and gold. With the color name Big Stage, the gold representing the 10th anniversary of Kobe’s fifth championship. The updated numbers on the side represent his notable stats/accomplishments of the 2009-2010 season.

A nice silhouette overall, and while one would typically just purchase these for basketball, it has a deeper meaning now. The whole collection should fly. I for one, would love the jersey.
