The new LeBron 8 “HWC” is inspired by throwback “Hardwood Classics” jerseys from the Cleveland Cavaliers. These jerseys had a similar blue based color scheme with orange accents. We first saw this sneaker originally released in 2011, in an inverted colorway, which I do think this one has the potential to be even better.
The sneaker includes a mostly royal blue upper, with suede patches and additional textiles on the mid section of the upper. Orange accents include the laces, the sole of the sneaker, inside the air bubble, inside the sneaker itself, and an outline of the white swoosh. I love these colors together, and I think this is a really nice colorway with a great story, especially if you are a Cavs fan, missing your Lebron days.
