These two sneakers are a part of Nike’s “Peace, Love and Golf” collection. Both are classic silhouettes from the brand, with updated technology to be perfect for you on the court. In these versions, they also each boast a different execution of rainbow details suggesting love for all.

I will have to say, I think the 97 is a much better job at the execution. The tie die is done seamlessly almost as if it were colorful clouds. While executed on ever other panel, the silhouette looks nice enough for anyone to rock it. We’ve seen crazier 97s before.

However, the 5 is not doing it for me. This is already a tough silhouette to rock, but this tie die just is ugly. I do like the tie die for the liner, but it is more executed similarly to the 97 on the inside. The small panel with the rainbow wheel of death looks like it is from that 70s show, and the crazy shape at the bottom does not help, either.

I feel like these should have launched in June for Pride, but I could be missing something on the golf end, specifically. Perhaps they are finally ready to take a stand for the movement. Hopefully these do well, as they are for a great cause. Though, I know which one will be performing the best.
