Nike React was super hott for a summer, but it died down quickly. It is an awesome shoe to wear when you’re going to the mall or running errands, but you wouldn’t really wear it to show off your fit. I like what they did with this version to make it a bit more interesting. I love the extra material pieces over the lacing system that isn’t tied down to the upper. I’m into the opaque blue piece on the heel. Overall, you get a variety of different textures, shapes and colors, and I’d say it looks really cool. I don’t know why I was having Bikini Bottom vibes by looking at the shoe, but Desert Oasis makes perfect sense for the color way. The tans soles and the off-white and brown upper represent sand, while the blues come in like water. I’m into this, but don’t think it is going to be on the top of people’s lists.
