For Cardi B’s birthday, Reebok released her first signature shoe. Now, Rihanna did it first with PUMA. Then, years later, Beyoncè did it with Adidas. It is Cardi’s turn, and I have to say, she did well. The sneaker has it’s similarities to the others, but it is so different, and it is wearable.

I love the iridescent, but dark outsole. It gives you height, and is boxy enough that it looks easy to walk in. The rest of the upper is mostly a white leather, with a small translucent piece on the logo where you can show off your pop of color in your socks or underneath. The tongue also has a nice bit of flare with a pull tab on the front with a small stripped design. Cardi’s name is present mashed up with the Reebok logo on the insole of each shoe.

When Beyoncè released her last shoe, it looked just like the Pointed Toe Cleated Creeper. Cardi’s sneaker has a similar vibe where it is definitely a platform sneaker, but in every other way she made it her own. I absolutely see it being what ladies want to wear for a sneaker.

I put the sneakers in my cart when she announced the release, then I did not go through with it, because I just purchased three other pairs of the sneakers in the past week. Of course, I am kicking myself for it now. I want to rep, absolutely. She killed it with these ones. Happy Birthday, Cardi.
