Melody Ehsani is an amazing streetwear designer. She has done many very successful sneaker collaborations with Nike in the past. Most recently, she did the Air Jordan 1 Mid “Fearless,” that was a different color way on each foot, and had the face of a watch at the bottom of the tongue, where the laces begin. Just a few weeks ago, Ehsani released the Jordan OG in a white color way. Teyana Taylor modeled the silhouette for the leak images, and I fell in love. Not really a silhouette I’d wear everyday, since it' is pretty basketball-ish. I definitely used to wear something similar when I played basketball. But I really like the shapes and the additionally piping, while leaving some space for the circle embellishments like in the Jordan 13 (I LOVE 13s). This collection is also about “ME.” Believing in yourself and following the right path. The sneakers have a cherry charm by the laces, which are also represented in a full apparel and accessory collection designed by Melody.
