Gucci Mane So Icy Boyz 22 10.17.22

It is October 17th. On one hand, it’s Eminem’s 50th birthday, and on the other, it’s Gucci Mane’s favorite day of the year. Not only is it his wedding anniversary, but a day that we can expect new music updates from Gucci until he is done releasing new music. Today, came with multiple surprises from Guwop.

First off, Gucci Mane is constantly updating his roster, The New 1017. Every time he does so, he ensures they are the “hottest unsigned artist” around, at the given moment. Next up on his list is Mac Critter, an artist from Memphis. Mac’s latest single is titled Fascinated, featuring PME Jaybee, which released on September 21st. His sound feels a bit different than what we typically hear from Memphis, but should be a great, fresh sound for 1017. While likely too soon for the So Icy Boys project, you can be sure new music from Mac Critter, and Gucci Mane, will be coming soon.

To that point, another 1017 Day, another So Icy Boys project. Gucci dropped the 2022 tape for the 1017 label, featuring twenty-two tracks from his artists Bic Fizzle, Enchanting, Big Walk Dog, Big Scarr, Hot Boy Wes, Sett and more.

While the line-up is still certainly missing heavy hitters Foogiano and Pooh Shiesty, the roster is still stacked. Big Walk Dog just released his album (and deluxe), Big Scarr was named a XXL Freshman this year, and Enchanting already dropped her visual with Gucci for her single on the new project.
