Feel Me Music Video Kanye West, Tyga circa 2017

Kanye West is such a family man, making music with all of Kim Kardashian’s sister’s boyfriends. Remember the track Feel Me, from 2017, with Tyga and Kanye West? The music video for this track just released for the first time, though recorded three years ago. In classic Kanye West fashion, the people are fascinated and outraged.

The video director for this shoot, Eli Russell Linnetz leaked the video on Instagram last week. It has certainly gained a lot of interest and commentary since. Eli shared that he directed this video three years ago, and no one has seen it, until now. Allegedly, the video cost one-million dollars to create, was shot over a period of five months, and had never been released due to the breakup between Kylie and Tyga.

This was Tyga’s credited song. I am sure Kanye had a vision that they did put to rest after a family fall out. Though, now that the own director leaked the video, I wonder what happens now. It dose not seem that any party from the video has commented thus far. The song itself was not outlandish, so perhaps the rebubbling of this song will do something to help Tyga.

Feel Me sounds exactly how you would think a Tyga and Kanye West collaboration song would sound. A whole lot of words that do not mean anything, with a futuristic beat that sounds like Kanye has already sampled several times in the past. The track peak positioned at 48 on the US Billboard Hot R&B./Hip-Hop chart, and 4 on the US Billboard Bubbling Under Hot 100 Singles (meaning they did not make it to the real chart). This video at the time could have definitely helped them out here, but overall, an underwhelming effort of the from the once brother-in-law potentials.

No one cares about the song to this day, but everyone loves a leaked song or video. Especially when we find it is as outrageous as what we have just witnessed. Kylie Jenner is the main star of the video. She walks around a monster truck race course, and appears to be a giant above all else in the video. Her outfit is super scandalous, her hair is short, wet and blonde, and she has on some crazy blue eyeshadow. This does give the vibes that she is extraterrestrial, and matches the crazy edits of the video, from lightening and stormy clouds to seeing double or triple of everything.

In the song, Tyga talks about Kylie in the chorus. When it is Kanye’s turn, he repeats Tyga’s chorus, only using Kim’s name instead. Kim appears in the video next. Her look is similar, but her hair is slightly longer and she is wearing even less clothing. She kind of just stands there and dances a bit, but the ending is where it gets even more wild.

The end of the video takes us to this never ending hole, which also looks a sonogram. Once this gaping whole comes to an end, there is a giant crowd of people, with their hands raised, looking to the sky. They are all blue, and not to be weird, but my instant thought is that they are all fetus’ waiting to enter the Earth. That is just exactly what this scene is resembling, in my eyes.

Lightening then comes over the crowd, and we see Kylie Jenner walking out from between a larger body’s legs. This is the birthing of Kylie Jenner, in the music video. Many say this is Kim Kardashian giving birth to Kylie Jenner. Without her older sister, where would she be? Well, in this family, I am sure everyone would be fine, but Kim definitely paved the way and made her lifestyle a lot more justifiable.

In my personal opinion, this larger figure looks like it is also Kylie. If you pause and zoom in, the hair looks exactly the same as Kylie’s did in this video. Kim’s was a bit longer, so I was not convinced that this is what it truly meant. If Kylie birthed herself, it could just mean how much of a power woman she is, and does not look to anyone for advice, business or encouragement.

The XXL article about the video claims that Eli shared it was Kim giving birth to Kylie. This could be the case, absolutely. However, I did not see any actual interview, and if this is the first we are seeing of this in the three years it has been created, I do not believe any direct quotes from Eli.

As in many forms of art, I think it is up to us to decide what the hell is going on in this music video. I would definitely say it is the girls taking over the world. However, they may need a better song to act upon this wish.
