Meek Mill via Falmerz Flow

Meek Mill dropped a new freestyle with a visual, and people are calling for Meek Mill’s return. Many months have passed since any official album, but Meek has been dropping singles quietly. Still, there have been plenty of social debates calling Meek Mill’s demise and the rise of his industry friend, Lil Durk. Well, be careful with that you say because this freestyle has got to be a freestyle to preview much more on the way, and Meek is not slowing down his game by any means.

The freestyle is said to be a sneak peak to Dream Chasers 5, which is rumored to deliver sometime this summer. Dream Chasers 4 was released in 2016, and being the name of Meek’s brand and label, we have been waiting for the next album ever since. Potential track lists for the project have emerged on sites like Genius, which includes some features from his newer teammates in the game, i.e Lil Durk, Lil Baby, Young Thug, Lil Uzi Vert, and more. It seems like a lot of these tracks have been previewed or performed on special occasions, so could possibly be a smaller list of what is new to come.

Some features that I am thinking about Meek Mill adding to the project, would be Bobby Shmurda and Dave East whom both made appearances in the music video for the freestyle. Bobby Shmurda has been seen in the studio with people like DaBaby, A Boogie and Don Q, and more. Something big has got to be coming from Bobby. Dave East recently dropped a new project with Millyz. He seems like he’s in a bit of a groove right now and I feel this collaboration would be really interesting to hear. Similar styles from different areas.

Meek used this track, mainly just to remind us all of his skills. He approaches the booth with his aggressive, yet on beat flow, and clearly has not missed a beat. Meek seemingly is just having a good time, from partying with Dave East to having a push up competition with Bobby Shmurda during the music video. Meek speaks on overcoming the virus, and forgetting about all the haters as he continues to live his best life (despite all the drama with Tekashi 6ix9ine and others).

Meek Mill is back, and taking prisoners. Who do you want to see on the upcoming album?
