50 Cent, The Game
G-Unit was once everyone’s favorite hip-hop group, but since have became what appears to be enemies. After a number of years, one would hope that they could figure out their issues, but unfortunately, that does not appear to be the case. Once again, the two stars of the crew, 50 Cent and The Game, appear to be going at it again.
The Game recently put out his album, Drillmatic, and to be honest, he sounded pretty salty. Drillmatic was twenty-nine songs, just under two hours. It was half really dope, and half hater-aid, coming at 50 Cent, Eminem and others. I am not writing this as a Stan or anything like that. I was pumped for this Game album, and think a lot of it was really good. However, some of the talk on the project just felt like he was a little too concerned with past relationships, and not focused on him today being the greatest lyricist of all time, in which he claims. He has since put out a single, Bodies, which is just a lot of death threats and yelling.
At a concert over the past few days, The Game said on stage that he still is not messing with 50 Cent. He yelled into the mic, he’d say it in Houston, he’d say it in New York, or anywhere 50 Cent tries to run, that he is not messing his former teammate. Of course, 50 took his turn to clap back.
50 Cent got hold of the video of The Game calling him out, and shared it on Instagram with a mocking caption, that read:
👀oh no, you making me nervous now you know it’s not safe around me 😆when i’m nervous.LOL
The video has over 2.8M views in less than a day. It is clear that 50 is unbothered by the comments, especially after he just won an Emmy with Eminem, Dr Dre, Snoop Dogg, Kendrick Lamar and Mary J Blige for their Super Bowl HalfTime Performance, which The Game has publicly spoken on being upset about, due to him not being invited to the reunion.
It does not seem like these two will ever make up. However, 50 Cent did agree to interview across Irv Gotti’s Murder Inc Tales on his beef with Ja Rule, so who knows!
