Nicki Minaj and Drake are basically Batman and Robin of hip-hop. Young Money at its prime all together was absolutely unstoppable. While we did recently just receive Nicki, Drake and Wayne all together on Seeing Green, it does seem like we should be seeing more of the Certified Lover Boy and the Barbz together, real soon.

Yesterday, Nicki Minaj took to social media to share that she was going live Thursday at 10:30PM EST. She expressed that she “URGENTLY” had something to share with us, and that she would not be late as it is “VERY VERY VERY IMPORTANT.” This video has already been viewed 505,000 times, and best believe the Barbz have went and all turned on their notifications to tune in just on time for Nicki’s Live announcement.

Late last night, Drake posted two Instagram Story slides. One, being him seemingly in the back of a car with a face filter. The second, was the image of a room that was all in red-light, with LD Lights that read “NICKI.” Of course, we do believe this is Nicki Minaj’s home recording space, alluding to the idea that they were together. In the studio. Making music.

The Internet is certainly going insane right now, preparing for a new track from the two. Drake recently got the attention of followers by updating the bio description in his Instagram Profile, to read “Certified.” Fans hope that this means his upcoming album Certified Lover Boy is on the way.

Perhaps Nicki and Drake are closing out the final track for the album. Or, perhaps this is a new track in the meantime, while CLB is putting on the finishing touches. Either way, we’ll be tuned in to Nicki’s Live, ready to hear this new song - I mean, new news that she has for us.
