Rick Ross

I have said this a few times before: Rick Ross’ Instagram Story may be too long to bear, but there are hidden gems in there. Last night, Rick Ross previewed a new track produced by Cool and Dre, which could be a hint that a new album is on the way. Last summer, Rick Ross mentioned that he was working on his 11th studio album. Though the original timeframe was slatted for January of 2021, it looks like we are getting closer to finally receiving a new project from Ricky Rozay.

We did not get the entire song, but Rick Ross gave us a real nice snippet of an upcoming track, which lasted about six Instagram Story slides. One of the slides tagged @CoolCND, and Dre also shared on his page that the Rick Ross vocals had come in. He wrote Cool and Dre x Rick Ross, and used #RicherThanIveEverBeen, which is currently what we know to be the title of Rick Ross’ upcoming album. Since Rick Ross has previously shared that the album was 95% completed, this must mean the finishing touches are being applied, and a potential release is near.

Cool and Dre are credible record producers and song writers in the hip-hop industry, working on singles and albums with legends from Fat Joe, to Lil Wayne, 2 Chainz, Busta Rhymes and many more. They have definitely been a part of some classics and work with some older talent of the scene, but have kept up their consistency and proven able to still work well in today’s new stages of hip-hop. Most recently, they worked with Fat Joe on Sunshine, DJ Khaled on Greece and PopStar, and can be found on Bryson Tiller’s latest album, Anniversary. With their catalog dating back to 2002, these guys definitely know hip-hop and what the listeners are looking for.

Getting into the snippet, I am into the song thus far. A familiar Rick Ross beat with some harmonist symbols and choir-esque vocals, and Rick Ross preaching positivity while talking smack at the same damn time. He gives Bobby Shmurda a shout out, and talks about the police being afraid of them in the same breathe. Rick Ross talks about the pandemic, and states that once he reaches his goal of a billion dollars, he will move to Haiti. The goal for Rozay has always been to be a self made million year, and since hitting that goal, a billionaire is next. With the album titled Richer Than I’ve Ever Been, we can assume he is on his way.

On top of the new music, Rick Ross’ home is making money moves as well. The new Coming 2 America movie was literally filmed in Rick Ross actual home. The home is 45,000 square-foot mansion in Fayetteville, Ga., which sits on 235 acres. There are 12 bedrooms and a dining room that seats up to 100 people. Rick Ross stated that they while they used his actual bedroom for the movie, some new wall paper was implemented which enjoyed and asked to keep. There was also a huge dinning room table that was left for him as a gift.

Rick Ross was supposed to have his own family show, which seems to have been placed on hold, likely due to the pandemic. However, he has found a way to keep getting money, and it appears that new music is finally up next.
