Survivor’s Remorse Oct 7 & 10

G Herbo has been teasing for a while now that new music is on the way. During festival season, at Rolling Loud, G Herbo mentioned a ton of new music he had on the way, and continued to share that it was “coming sooner than you think.” Today, he officially released the release date and track list for his upcoming, double album, Survivor’s Remorse.

Survivor’s Remorse has been a topic of discussion with hip-hop artists, especially after lately where it seems the violence just will not quit. G Herbo previously sharing his album PTSD let us into his life experiences, and understanding more of what challenges he has faced, emotionally. It seems that he is ready to do that again, and this time, with a double album.

The project will have two sides; Survivor’s, featuring twelve tracks, and Remorse, featuring thirteen tracks. We’ll get Survivor’s on a Friday, October 7th, and side B, Remorse, will drop on the following Monday, October 10th. I think twenty-five tracks is pretty healthy, and the short stagger in-between gives us breathing room to listen to the first half in full, and be ready and still entertained for the second side to kick off the following week.

And yes, we also already have the track lists for both, which are exciting. The features which we already know about include Offset, Future and A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie. New features to be name dropped include Jeremih, Gunna, Young Thug, Kodak Black, Benny the Butcher and Conway the Machine (and Yosohn, not to be forgotten!).

It will definitely be exciting to hear YSL on this project, where the world of hip-hop is certainly missing them greatly. I am mostly excited to hear Benny and Conway on their own singles with G Herbo, and see how they mesh together. When you look a bit deeper into the track list, you’ll find a 4 Min Hell PT 6, a fan favorite theme for G Herbo fans, and a bonus track titled Letter to Juice, which is sure to be a nice tribute to his late friend.

The official music video for Me, Myself & I featuring A Boogie is out now. The Blues record with Future should be releasing a video soon as well. October 7th and 10th are the official album releases, but you can pre-save now on iTunes and Spotify.
