Travis Scott is a man of many talents. Everyone knows him for his music, and many love to wear his shoes. If you’ve watched Travis Scott’s documentary, Look Mom I Can Fly, you probably know how involved he is with the process of everything he does. From how the lighting at his shows are set up, who is backstage with him at all times, and how extremely passionate he is about his work. Exciting news for Travis, is it looks like he is about to take his brand to the next level.

Travis Scott started .Wav radio back in 2016, a radio show on Beats 1 from Apple Music. Scott was known for playing unreleased music, chatting with different artists, interviews and letting us know what was next from the artist. For the first time in two years, Travis Scott and Chase B (Cactus Jack DJ) hosted a two hour episode of .Wav radio. They discussed a lot that is going on in the world, but also shared some great things and news.

Travis played unreleased music, from artists including Big Sean, Sheck Wes, Nav, Wheezy, Swae Lee, YBN Cordae, Don Toliver, Justin Bieber and Young Thug. White Tee is a new Travis Scott and Young Thug song that was aired during the show. Chase and Travis also announced they are working on dropping a new collaborative album that will include many of these songs. The album will be called, Escapism, though there are no further release date details at this time. The radio show can still be played on Apple Music to get a sneak peak at the currently unreleased tracks.

The only thing as fun as a new collaborative album, is a new pair of exclusive sneakers. Travis Scott has recently been seen rocking a pair of all white Air Force 1, with a tiny logo on the back heel. This logo appears to be the Cacti logo, also seen and labeled quite clearly on the hat he is wearing on the image above. What is interesting about this logo, is that there have been billboards in LA seen highlighting this logo, for thousands of people to see. Scott must be on to something.

After being involved with Jordan Brand for quite a few years and consistently selling out every new pair of sneakers, it looks like Travis Scott is getting ready to take the fashion industry more seriously. Cacti, seems to be the name of Travis Scott’s forthcoming clothing brand, which is perfect for Cactus Jack the label. I assume it will be some ‘high-end streetwear’, but at a more affordable price range so his fan can wear the apparel. Like many in the industry, Travis Scott knows how to take name-brand apparel, and it make it look regular.

Kanye West and Travis Scott are somewhat family right now. Though Kanye has his own clothing line and it valued at luxury price points, I think Travis will make his clothing more accessible. Travis is obsessed with his fans, and rightfully so because they are die-hards. I remember watching the documentary and kids literally breaking their legs in Travis Scott mosh pits. Absurd, but true. A few times when the Cactus Jack Jordan’s have dropped, Travis was vocal about trying new methods so that the bots would not take all the pairs, and the true fans would be able to wear the shoes. He also lead the game in virtual concerts over quarantine with his Fortnite Concert and surprise music release. This is totally a prediction, but I imagine the Cacti collection will be somewhat accessible for true Travis fans.

There has been no official announcement on the launch of the Cacti clothing collection, but with the radio show back and new music in the works, we can only assume that Travis Scott is ready to share a lot with the world. Music and fashion has truly come hand-and-hand today. While I see myself shopping A$AP Mob couture over JACKBOYS, I am here for it and excited to see what the team comes up with.
