Styling the Air Jordan 5

11.5.20

The Air Jordan 5 is one of those sneakers that just is not for everyone. It comes up high on the ankle, it’s a bit clunky without being a chunky sneakers, and has harsh shapes. I always thought of the 5 as more of a manly model, which only makes me more determined to pull it off. Make it an Off-White release, and it is just an instant flex, that you can dress up to the nines, or keep it calm and causal.

The sail colorway is really nice for pairing with whites and browns. With the red details and slightly darker sail details, these sneakers are perfect for these six fall looks I put together, for the Air Jordan 5 Off-White.

Check, Mate

If you do not have have your cozy work from home fits yet, you are doing quarantine oh so wrong. This NikeLab set is the absolutely coziest set in my wardrobe, and the brown tones are super flattering. I love these sweats that are a bit baggy, but cinched at the ankle, for clear sneaker show-off support. I’d wearing this looking sitting in the house for the day, working from home, or running some busy errands on a Sunday,

Can’t Be Tied Up

This set from SEHIN is the perfect fall, going out out set. The pants are slightly high waisted with a mid seam for that great shape. The long sleeve top is cropped, with ties on each side which you can wrap twice around for that sexy, strappy look. I love this burnt orange color with the dark reds and yellows and these sneakers. A look that means business, confidence, and totally fierce.

Thankful

Can we talk about how thankful I am that I got the early notification to cop these sneakers in the first place? My first real W on the SNKRS app, I put say. This Free People jumpsuit is so cute and flattering. The buttons are a light and dark brown swirled, which I found paired well with the mostly light upper. The hem on the pants are cuffed, with a slightly tapered ankle for easy sneaker cam views. I will probably be wearing this look on Thanksgiving, and to many dinner dates this fall.

Full of Life

While we are mixing our browns with these beautiful sneakers, this sweater romper is a cocoa brown with a bit of a shimmer between its threads. It is cozy with a loose, but flattering fit, full sleeves, and a cozy collar. For some extra bling, this gold, long necklace to bring some shape back to the bodice. You may rock this look as is, or throw on some matching, high sweater socks, for that cozy fall look. I would absolutely rock this look to dinners or going out anywhere nice this fall.

Texturize

I am telling your that Abercrombie & Fitch has everything you need when it comes to outfitting to match. I paired this faux suede cami with a button-up faux suede skirt which felt perfect for the fall, and my new Sail Off-White sneakers. I like the idea of the high-top sneaker off-balancing the shorter skirt for this look. Mixing textures a bit, I wanted to add in this faux leather jacket, in this super light cream color. If you mixed the colors in the jacket and the cami, you’d come close to sail, which is why I love this look together so much. This look goes anywhere you are this fall.

Sweater of Your Dreams

I fell in love with this sweater before I even got to wear it. A long ribbed knit, a beautiful color, and buttons all the way up. You can wear this sweater as a dress, or you can wear it open with some denim and a cami. You’ll definitely catch me rocking it both ways this fall, but especially with a light denim and my sneakers. The color of the sweater works well with the red and yellowish colors on the outsole of the sneaker, and will meet just above each other to really pull together the whole look. This look can be causal or dressed up with accessories, so have some fun and take her out for a night on the town.
