Styling the PUMA RS 9.8

11.12.20

The PUMA RS 9.8 is a recent member of the RS line. Super comfortable and fashionable, but a bit slimmer than the RS-X or any other silhouette of the RS collection. This style is a bit different in its shapes, and therefore its materials. There is some suede, some canvas, some rubber and leather. Not to mention, serval different shades of brown. Sometimes different materials and shares are difficult to match, so here are plenty of fits you can rock with the PUMA RS 9.8 Cosmic.

First Mile, Never Last

Of course, the biker shorts don’t go out of style when it gets a bit cold, we just layer. This First Mile jacket from PUMA matches perfectly with the dark red accents on both pieces, with some light stripes on the jackets straps. I would rock it open so you can see the set underneath, or closed and cinched in, to almost give a dress effect with the long length. This can be your daily active set, but make it fashion.

Nux if you Buck

I love this set from Nux more than most people. I get nervous when purchasing athletic wear because I never know what is going to fit right. I usually wear an XS in apparel, but my sports bras cannot be XS, and sometimes S doesn’t even work. This set is a size S, and they both fit perfect. The leggings are a little long, but the material is so forgiving that you can adjust the length, and everything will look just right. The maroon distressed wash is really pretty, and the crop hits right above the waist line, so it just a little bit of skin in between. I thought these went perfect with the RS 9.8 because of the maroon piece on the heel. So when you’re wearing this to look cute rather than be active, here is your look right. I’ll be wearing it every time I need to walk the dog or go run some errands from now on.

Bathrobes to Lounge Robes

This SHEIN three piece set is everything. Monochrome is quite the long lasting trend, and this material is so cozy, there is no need to put on anything else. It’s quarantine, so why get dressed anyways, right? Well, if you’re hanging around the house, having a slumber party with your girls, or just running a quick errand, throw on your PUMA RS 9.8, and it is a true perfect match with this fit, as the upper matches the sweater set to a tee.

Posh Spice, but Brown

This attitude is just a whole lot of sass. While I wear black as if there are no other colors in the world, this burnt orange/brown color has really been pulling me this fall. This romper from SHEIN is super easy access with it’s front zipper, and some cozy. It is just slightly baggy enough where it is not uncomfortable to wear, but it absolutely shows off the shape you want when throwing this on. You can dress this up with some chunky jewelry and a purse to go out for drinks, or you can dress it down with a backpack and pony to run some errands.

Cody Teddy

This sweater set and cute and cozy, like no other. It is actually thick, almost like a blanket, so it is sure to keep you warm. The pants are fitted just right at the waist with the belt to tie, and the legs flare just a bit, but not too much to drag. They cut at just the right spot for the “flared pant and sneaker” vibe where they are just slightly covered, but you can still see the heat on feet. I would wear this look on a casual day where you want to look cute, or maybe to do some fall actives with accessories.

Ballroom Blitz

This has got to be one of my favorite dresses, because you can dress it up, dress it down, or anywhere in-between. The neckline looks like a deep-v, but the adjustable straps let you pretty much tame whatever look you are going for. The dress is light and flowly, with just enough fit to be flattering. The dark brown satin with the mini white polkadots is the reverse colorway of the sneakers, which makes them a true perfect match. The slit really allows the sneakers to shine with a kick. You can totally rock this look to a brunch, a dinner with some jewelry, or even an event at an Elks.
