Styling the Nike SF Air Force 1 High

1.15.21

The Nike SF Air Force 1 High may be one of the most different sneakers we have styled yet - and there have been some interesting ones! I love this sneaker, because it takes a classic, but puts some shocking, unexpected details into the design. I love the black with the gum sole, the zipper closure, the crazy high height, and the exposed, wrap around lacing makes the entire silhouette. The pair actually comes with a second pair, with some 3M within the textiles. Yes, I did have these before Eminem tried them on during his episode of Sneaker Shopping. I really love them. Without further ado, let’s get into styling these bad boys.

Baby, Baby

Oh yes. When your sneakers are high, throw away the pants, because all they do is interfere. The Air Force is basically the GOAT of all Nike product, and we can say the same about Biggie Smalls and hip-hop. If you feel differently, I can assure you that you are wrong. Respectfully. I was especially feeling the red, orange, yellow font vibes with the gum sole, and paired it with a gold chunky bracelet to accent and spice it up a bit. The oversized t-shirt dress and some cute, bold sneakers is the perfect look for flexing a fit while remaining as comfortable and effortless as possible.

Cute, Cozy, Fierce

Now, brown and black do not tend to match, but it’s all about the tones and how you play with them. For example, the gum sole is a super light brown, almost translucent. It makes a soft color, almost as if it was a dark tan. Clearly, it works together quite while in the sneaker, and does the same in this Volcom knit set. Mostly gold, thick stripes, the suit is accented with white and black stripes as well. The over layer and the sneakers will take the secondary color, black, and make it pop, while the original primary color of gold/brown is now a quite accent layer. Such a cute and cozy set with some fierce kicks and bold jacket.

Stomp the Yard

These kicks mean business, and so does this outfit. The Nike SF Air Force 1 High actually does come in a white silhouette with some came “AIR” print. Maybe that is why I could not get this look out of my head, or maybe it was just because these sneakers are for bad bosses only. Anyways, I paired the sneakers with a gray camp pant, with a buckle belt. Then, a fitted long-sleeve to tuck into the pant and be a minimal layer piece for the gray quilted vest. You will be stomping all over the fit competition in this look. Literally or expressively is up to you.

I See You

Let’s spice it up a bit now, with some sheer. This blouse has a length where it may be worn as a dress for many. The tutu hem is so cute, and kind of matches the shape of the folded tongue of the sneaker. Underneath this sheer dress, I would through on this bandeau and biker short set. There is not just one statement piece here. The whole fit is fun and exciting.

Bows in Bulk

Okay, I know you were wondering how cute can we really go with these. This set is adorable with the cropped tank and bow that ties in the middle. The pants bring a sense of class and business. When you think of a lady boss, you think of someone fierce, bold, and willing to take risks. With that, I would definitely rock my most dominate pair of sneakers in my closet, and throw on a faux leather puffer to enhance the gum sole. This is a fit to flex, a fit for the gram, a fit for the ages. One of my favorites, for sure.

Run Up A Check

I finally got it. This is quite honestly the jacket of my dreams. I’ve been contemplating it for months on months. I’ve actually had this for a while now, but waiting for the right kicks to pair it with. The lighting does not do this jacket justice because it is the most beautiful, bright, lime green. I have never once felt anything so soft in my entire life. This jacket is absolutely everything. While oversized and fuzzy, you are clearly ready for all weather and obstacles a head. So, you better make sure your kicks match. Here, you are ready to take on all that your day has in store.
