Styling the Nike Vandalized LX

2.19.21

A pair of Air Forces can only be beat by another pair of Air Forces. The Nike Vandalized LX certainly takes inspiration from the Nike Air Force, with plenty of twists. The silhouette is a mid, sitting right about the ankle. It is clear the term Vandalized comes from the mash up of materials and how they are stitched onto the upper of the sneaker. From a choppy swoosh logo, suede accent pieces, and a leather cut so fine and smooth it almost appears unfinished. While overall quite neutral, the insoles and the bottom of the sneakers each have one red side and one blue side. Again, I guess you cannot be more neutral than wearing red and blue!

Since the sneakers are mostly white, with pops of color in places you will not always have visible, the outfit options are endless. But, I had fun playing with the bold colors that are present in the silhouette.

For The Soule

Whether your favorite color is red, blue or anything else, you can rock these kicks, and customize your own logo tee from the For The Soule shop. A babydoll tee from your favorite blog, that you can dress up, stole and accessorize in so many ways. This baby blue graphic is the perfect pair for the teddy coat, and some mid-top sneakers to even out the cropped tee.

Game Time

Playing with red and blue is perfect when you’re a Patriots fan.. But jerseys are becoming cute to style so I had some fun with this one. I styled my Cam Newton women’s fit tee with a long sleeve underneath, and some destress mom jeans. Spice it up with a metal chain belt and a chunky bag, and you are ready to crush it at the stadium, the watch party, or honestly galavanting wherever you please.

Short, Spice, Everything Nice?

When you miss your cute summer clothes, just fine cool ways to layer them! Want to rock a bandeau, toss on your favorite teddy coat. Have some cute biker shorts? Throw on some hightop sneakers. If you’re living in the east, you’re probably not going outside anyways. This look is for all seasons and simply will not be going out of style anytime soon. I am wearing this for all my errands, hanging in the house, it’s just, the perfect set.

Dragonball LX

A babydoll tee with wide leg pants, what is this the 70s?! Oh, we are taking it back with this one and making it one of the cutest looks out here. I would layer with a teddy coat, and this look is the perfect mash up of materials and cuts just as the sneakers themselves. This is my bar look for the week, casual dinner night out, a great fit for any scenario.

Not My BF’s Oversized Button Down

Why steal your man’s shirt when you can buy one even better? This dress takes inspiration from the male button down tee. We’ve been buying them oversized, stealing them from people, and attempting to make them fashion. That is okay, but this dress is to die for. I love the hidden buttons, long enough to be appropriate, I love a belt tie, and overall the fit is so flattering. You won’t get much shape from buying those XXL, so get yours that is meant for you, throw your sneakers, grab your clutch, and take on your day like the star that you are.

Heart Eyes Emoji

Definitely one of my favorite sets right here. Finishing off the week with a bold red to match perfectly with the red in the kicks. I would sport this skirt look up a bit with a sweater beanie to match the whole sweater, winter vibe, and you’re pretty much good to go. The skirt has a long slit in the front making it easy space to show off your kicks, while being cute and cozy at the same time. I’ve worn this look to dinners, holiday gatherings, and would do it over and over again. Cannot go wrong with a matching set, and a pair of sneakers to match.
