Styling the Perfect Spring Sneaker for Females

5.13.20

The nice weather is finally here. Whether or not we are really going anywhere, we’re definitely leaving the house and going for some season walks, or doing extra errands. Really, anything to get out of the house. Everyone needs a good pair of walking sneakers, and let’s be honest, it’s probably not the time to go out in sandals or open-toed shoes. A classic white pair of chunky sneakers goes with any look. From sporty, to relaxed, to cute, and maybe even a little spicy.

I wear my all white PUMA CELL Venom sneakers with just about everything. They’re a good price, very comfortable, and the perfect spring sneaker for any wardrobe choice. Here is a breakdown of some go-to looks.

Track Star

Track suits have definitely made their way back into the fashion game. Athleisure is fashion. So whether you’re walking the dog, or just trying to look cute and sporty, this neon track suit is amazing. The jacket is cropped, but a loose fit for comfortability. The pants have a draw string waist for the perfect fit and cinched ankles to show off the dope sneakers on your feet. This mini backpack is perfect for being cute and sporty, which I would definitely recommend if you have things to cary. Pockets are where we loose things.

Sports are Cool, Right?

Looking cute and sporty is the new sexy. Maybe Kim K and Yeezy Season made us do it, but it is happening. Grab a pair of your favorite biker shorts and a flowy crop top for balance. Add a pop of color by throwing on a bandeau and play with some fun tube socks on your feet. You will be the coolest gal on the street, and be super cozy while you turn heads.

That Chick

Not into the sporty look? Have no idea how to wear anything besides your Tory Burch sandals? I got you. Use your cute clothes, and some color blocking. Here I have a pair of high-waisted denim shorts with a light purple wash. A light green crop pulls it all together. This top in particular with a cinched center, and small parachute sleeves for a classy, tad bit risky look. Add some jewelry and throw on your chunky sneakers and you are ready for the friendship cookout, the rooftop bar, you’re basically ready to conquer it all.

Blassy but Bool

It means ‘Classy but Cool.’ Blazers are really big in streetwear right now, as well as matching suits. For the summer, a nice, soft blue blazer with matching shorts. Find an oversized graphic tee for underneath, to make the look more casual. Mine says, ‘Keep Listening to Gangsta Music’ which really speaks to my personality like the rest of this look. It also inspired the caption. I’ve rocked this look out lunch and to a work meeting. If you believe you can rock it, you can. This outfit is everything and Instagram photos are mandatory.

Take Me Home

I did not really mean this in a scandalous way. But perhaps it works. Short dresses and sneakers are always cute, but a long dress takes it to the next level. This dress is a white base like the sneakers, with a blue pattern of houses and people from perhaps the pilgrim ages. The back is strappy and the front bust line is cinched into the center with a bow. About ankle length with a one-sided slit, this dress is beautiful and super flattering. I used a navy handbag to match the blue in the dress, and a silver chocker, to super dress up the sneakers. When you need to look your best and still be chill and comfortable, you cannot go wrong with a long tank dress and sneakers.
