2022 AMA’s

The 2022 American Music Awards took place this weekend, as another night to celebrate music. While many were stunned and bothered by the sudden dismissal of anticipated Chris Brown performance, he still came home with a win for Best Male R&B Artist. Taylor Swift fans had a field day by a surprise appearance and six wins, throughout the night.

Award season comes and goes every year, and it seems someone is always left upset. Breezy shared multiple videos of himself and a whole team practicing for a performance at the award show, to only be canceled for “reasons unknown.” While he won an award in the R&B category, Summer Walker asked what the category even means nowadays, after loosing Best Female R&B Artist and Best R&B Album. While the talks of R&B still being a thing (or not a thing) has been a current topic of discussion, she did loose to Beyoncè, so hopefully the nomination in the same category means something to her and the estate.
