Music tends to leak rather often, but waking up to 130 leaked songs appears to be a bit much. Luckily for Latto, she is coming off of a fulfilling night at the American Music Awards, because there is a lot going on the internet right now, combing through her catalog. It appears that 130 Latto songs have been released, including a few you may know, from other artists.

Latto has had one hell of a year. From dropping her sophomore album, being nominated for two Grammys, and a handful of other awards at awards shows. There was a bit of a scuffle between herself and Nicki Minaj for winning these awards in certain categories, but as we discussed last night, the awards and the categories always leave some people hurt. That should never take away from those whom do win, because they have earned it, too, as Latto certainly has.

However, no matter how big of an impact she has made with her past two albums and non-stop hard work and dedication, something on the internet has slipped. It has been reported that Latto has had a massive leak to catalog, where 130 unreleased tracks have been released on the internet. Last week, Latto shared a video poking fun at a leak of one of her songs, but it appears this was prior to the leak overload, and what would come of it.

Looking at the list of leaked tracks that have been circulating the internet, you see different versions of some of her hits, such as Big Energy, and Bussdown with Kodak Black. However, two of the songs that appeared to be on the leaked track list, were Blick Blick, and Whole Lotta Money. These are songs that were released by Coi Leray and BIA respectfully, with Nicki Minaj as the featured artist on both tracks.

Many have asked, what does this mean? Did Latto write the songs? (BIA quickly shut this down). Were the songs meant for Latto? Did she record the idea of what the flow should sound like for other artists? Or, were multiple artists given the opportunity, and Latto was passed up on both of them?

Now, Latto is going to be an award winning artists with or without these two tracks, but it does appear that this could be a part of the tension between her and Nicki Minaj. She recorded verses for both of these songs, that would later go on to include Nicki Minaj verses, but miss out on both of them. But with the leak, the full story remains unclear, which leads us to the last question: do you all have the same writers?

During the back and forth feud on Twitter between both Latto and Nicki Minaj, Latto did at one point suggest that everyone works with the same writers, and while her single Big Energy may have not been her most rap hip-hop song, she should be able enjoy her win. Nicki Minaj has always said that she writes her own music, and was sure that Coi Leray did as well, so this piece just brings back a lot of question regarding the topic.

Nonetheless, Latto’s Blick Blick verse was sick. Cardi B is repping for Latto on Twitter. Latto had an amazing time at the American Music Awards with several nominees.
