2023 Grammy Nominations

11.16.22

2023 Grammy Awards 2.5.23

The 2023 Grammys will take place on Sunday, February 5th, 2023. The official list of the nominations have been released, and as always, the internet is in an uproar. While artists like Beyoncé and Kendrick Lamar were well-represented in their respective categories, there were some people missing.

Nicki Minaj will remain without a Grammy after this year as she has zero nominations for any of the listed categories. There is a hashtag trending on Twitter labeled #NoGrammyForGranny, as she has gone thirty-seven years without one. Some are shocked, and calling Nicki black-balled from the Grammys, while others chose to highlight the other incredible black female artists whom have won a Grammy.

Speaking of which, Glo Rilla has been nominated for her first Grammy, for her breakthrough record FNF. Latto is also nominated for two Grammys, including Best New Artist and Best Melodic Performance.

Did your favorite get nominated this year? Who is missing?
