Eminem, 2022 Rock and Roll Hall of Fame

Eminem has officially been inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, where he held a stellar performance and speech to impress all those dedicated to music. While fans will be able to watch the ceremony in full on HBO Max come November 18th, the stars have begun filling our timelines with what went on that night.

As a well-deserved member of the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, Eminem brought his style to the stage, performing alongside Steven Tyler and Ed Sheeran. Sing for the Moment, arguably the biggest song from The Eminem Show went twelve times platinum. Having Steven Tyler rock out beside him showed respect amongst each other as artists, but more importantly, between the two genres of music and artistry. Eminem has a couple of newer songs with Ed Sheeran, though they performed together on another classic record, Stan. While Eminem has recorded the single with two other artists prior, it seemed like a perfect fit for the two to do together during this moment. Eminem also performed My Name Is and Rap God amongst others.

Of course, Dr Dre was able to speak on behalf of Eminem for his induction into the HOF. He spoke on not realizing the color of his skin until meeting him in person, though he had greatly studied his music. Eminem mentioned that Dre saved his life. He was a high-school drop-out, and hip-hop artists were his teachers. Eminem thanked all his favorite artists - in alphabetical order.
