Kanye’s At It Again

We have seen a number of Kanye West Twitter rants. When he is active on Instagram, we know he has something to say. This past weekend is surely one for the books as Ye has called out everyone on the board at Adidas, claiming his brand, Yeezy, is being tarnished in a number of ways, and he is not happy.

Firstly, it appears that Ye is having issues at home, with where the children are going to school. The first post you can find on his Instagram is about himself opening his own school, Donda. This is followed by a text thread of him suggesting his kids do two days at Donda, and three at another school, or vice versa. This is very likely him wanting his children to be a part of the school he built, while assumingely their mother would like them to stay in the program they are currently in. From here forward, he begins to take his anger and words out on the board of Adidas.

Daniel Cherry III is a newly appointed Senior Vice President at Adidas, who Ye is very clearly unhappy with. His face is plastered all over Ye’s page, around fifteen times, criticizing him being appointed to this role without his approval, and, making fun of the hat he wears.

Recently, Ye has shared that Adidas were making a lot of decisions on behalf of the Yeezy brand, without Ye’s approval. He now shares that they are re-releasing old sneakers and putting out new color-ups, in which he did not approve. Allegedly, something similar may be going on with his GAP partnership, however he kept this weekend mainly focused on Adi. He shared photos of over fifteen employees of Adidas Global, including their full names and job titles, trolling them for whatever their role at the brand may be. He also suggested that Daniel Cherry would be loosing his job, prior to Ye.

While this is certainly not Ye’s first blow up, can he come back from this with Adidas? Can Yeezy stand on its own, if it comes down to it?
