Multi Threats

12.8.22

Nowadays, everyone wants to be multi-talented, have gigs on the side, and show off their talents we did not know they had. The same goes for artists and celebrities as well. Now, we are not here to tell you about the basketball stars that want to rap and vice versa, but there are some familiar names you may be surprised to hear, have taken up modeling. And not just any kind of modeling…

Last week, Kim Kardashian shared the holiday campaign creative for her underwear and loungewear brand, SKIMS. Brands tend to excel with a good brand ambassador behind their creative, and if Kim K is not enough to sell you on her products, well, maybe Snoop Dogg will. YES. Snoop Dogg is the face of Skims new holiday campaign collection, where he was shot in three different looks, alongside his wife, children and grandchildren. Snoop wore a brown and black flannel two piece pajama set, a navy blue hoodie and sweat pant loungewear set, and a cozy patterned robe, which also comes in a two-piece set version.

Snoop was all smiles with his family throughout this shoot. This was definitely a surprise, but an enjoyable one, indeed. Hopefully he gives Andy Samberg some credit on the next commercial for at least giving it a shot and stepping out of his comfort zone (LOL).

What appears to be a collection mainly for women, Kim brought out some goods that the whole family can enjoy, including the men. It is a great way to get the world’s attention of what else the brand had to offer. And you know what? Rihanna was thinking the same thing.

Savage x Fenty is known for being the lingerie brand all the girls wants to wear, including the vast roster of celebrity ambassadors. Rihanna has always done an amazing job giving females in her industry the opportunity to rock her product, and be a part of the brand’s success. There is someone else that she worked with quite often in the music biz, that she decided to turn around and bring into her Savage world, as well.

None other than DJ Khaled has been seen modeling for Savage x Fenty’s new menswear collection. Khaled was shot in a red sweatsuit for loungewear, navy, silky pajama set, and a mustard yellow, silky robe with matching shorts. They all look like royalty and appear to match both of the artists brands quite well.

You probably did not think you were ever going to see DJ Khaled modeling some underwear, but here we are, and it works.

Props to these guys for testing out their modeling careers in such a bold category, and props to the females behind the brand for thinking outside of the box and making these power moves.

Do you think Snoop Dogg and DJ Khaled have a modeling career after these campaigns?
