R is for Rihanna
10.26.22
This is huge year for Rihanna. She became a first time mother, she announced her performance at the upcoming Super Bowl Halftime Show, has a new Fenty Fashion show on the way, and oh - NEW MUSIC!
Fans have been waiting years for Rihanna to put out new music. For a while, it seemed like she was doing everything but, with her many successful business adventures. You know, though, when you hit the Super Bowl stage, it typically means there is new music, or something big on the way.
For about a week now, the blogs have been sharing the news that Rihanna is said to have two brand new singles release as a part of the Black Panther: Wakanda Forever Soundtrack. The movie has a current release date of November 11th where it will hit theaters everywhere, and serve as a sequel to the original Black Panther movie, which people absolutely raved about.
Rihanna making a massive comeback to music for a soundtrack to a movie that has such an important meaning in today’s age, only feels like the absolutely best move for RiRi to get back to work. But do we have to wait til November 11th? Do we have to rush to the theaters to hear it? Well, while you should most definitely go see the film, Rihanna may be available to stream in just a few more days.
On the Black Panther Instagram page, of course there is plenty of content previewing the new upcoming film. If you look closely, there appears to be a hidden message, which we believe is new Rihanna. Yesterday, Black Panther shared a post with Marvel Studios including the classic Black Panther Wakanda Forever Logo, in video form. As the letters spin into place, they all vanish, other than the letter R, which then grows and comes to the center of the screen. Beneath the letter ‘R’ a date appears, 10.28.22.
That date is this upcoming Friday, and what else could the R stand for then Rihanna?! It surely sounds like new music is on the way from Rihanna, and could be in our speakers as soon as this Friday.
Are you excited for new Rihanna? Will you be headed to theaters on November 11th?
