Styling the Club C Cardi

12.10.20

Cardi B has debuted her signature sneakers with Reebok, which has sold out pretty much everywhere. I went back and forth on picking up my pair, and eventually had to go to Stock X to secure my size. They were not selling for too much higher than retail, so I was okay with this. When I finally received my package, I could not have been happier with these sneakers. With so many artist signature sneakers out right now, it was almost like, what else can we do. But these are new, different, and absolutely beautiful.

The Club C Cardi is a fashion-forward twist on the Club C silhouette. The sole definitely gives you a boost of height, and an interesting, dark translucent look. The upper is a white patent leather, with a patch of suede outlining the toe box, and a translucent, clear pattern piece on the side. The laces and the heel tab are black again to tie in the dark sole, and uses a sweater material on the heel for extra comfort. If you are like me and just need it need it to say the artist name somewhere on the shoe so you know it’s real, Cardi B’s name is printed above the Reebok logo on the insole of the shoes.

I think these sneakers are beautiful and I like that they are much different than others we have seen. Yes, I am talking specifically to Beyoncè. Sure, her line sold out instantly, why would it not? I absolutely adored the apparel collection, but those sneakers were the exact replica of the FENTY Cleated Creeper that Rihanna put out years. Cardi B did her thing with this one, and is definitely a sneaker you could put into your daily rotation.

The Jersey Dress

The best way to dress up a pair of sneakers while keeping it completely casual, is the jersey dress. You want to be cute but sporty, you have the jersey dress. I paired this black and white jersey with some cropped leggings for the winter, and tied it in with a shiny chain belt. This look is perfect for game day, hitting the townie bar, or just hanging out with your friends indoors. Any way you put it, you are a trendsetter in the fashion lane.

Vintage Vibes

I am obsessed with this crewneck from Mitchell & Ness. It gives off old school NBA vibes, with a slight crop to keep it girly. I would dress it up with these fancy leggings with zippers on the pockets and ankles, along with my dark translucent sole sneaker. I have worn this out to a casual dinner, but would literally rock this anywhere, any day of the week. These sneakers are truly an everyday pair of kicks - elevated for needing to have the best sneakers on the block, of course.

Can’t Tell Me Nothin’

The joggers and the bandeau is a key look for streetwear this year, and we have to come through for Cardi B on this one. These joggers from Urban Outfitters are the perfect amount of relaxed while still be extremely cute. The medium tone goes nicely with the translucent pieces of the sneakers, and pairs just fine with a black bandeau. I would toss on trench, in this case my medium-length came coat, and you are off to hit the town for the night. Warning: you’ll be turning heads.

Short & Sweet

This two-piece set from Abercrombie & Fitch is the absolutely cutest. I cannot stand a super-short cap sleeve that rides up and is basically a tank top, so these sleeves that are between a cap and a 3/4 is the perfect length for an indoor t-shirt during the winter seasons. The tie at the front makes it super cute, while the skirt can be worn as high waisted, covering anything that the tie exposed. I will probably be wearing this outfit on Christmas, but you can rock it out to brunch or a dinner, or any events where you want to dress up cute.

Bodak Yellow

This jumpsuit means business. The pattern is classic, and stand-out-ish, with a slight flare on the legs. I would throw on a black leather coat to match the pattern stripes, grab some accessories and a purse, and you are on your way. I love a good platform with a flared pant, and these two have the perfect ratio. I am wearing this look to the office, to a professional coffee date, fancy dinners, anywhere I can go and be a little extra.

Wonderfull, amazing, pretty. What were you thinking? This outfit is all from Abercrombie & Fitch, and quite honestly has to be my favorite dress, and my favorite jacket. The dress is fitted on the top, and flares out at the bottom for a full spin look. The material is super flattering as well. The light jacket with the black dress is the perfect pairing for this pair of sneakers. This look is fair game for all of your parties, events and get togethers where you want to be cute, classy, and still keep you feet cozy.
