Styling the PUMA Thunder

5.29.21

The PUMA Thunder is a new, old silhouette from the brand, and just happens to be one of my favorites. It first launched a few years back when the chunky shoe trend really came back into fruition. You do not see too much of them anymore, but I still love the style and have a handful of incredible color ways. This one is one of my favorites because of the teal blue and magenta mashup. Not something you see everyday, which makes it so much for to put styles together for.

Track Star

I love a good matching set, and this track suit gives cozy and sexy all in one. This how you look great at the airport, at the movies, or runny errands on a rainy day. The small maroon details on the waistband, collar and zippers match quite well with the maroon-ish colors on the sneakers. I have rocked this with the color both up and down, depending if you are going for a more sporty or cute look.

Bike Life

Biker shorts are never going out of style again, if I can help it. This pair for Urban fit so well and are super flattering, you can wear them with a massive t-shirt, or something more cropped or fitted. For this look, I went super simple with the shorts and tee, and used the top layer as the accent piece. It is an open cardigan, no closure, slightly cropped and slightly bomber like. This look is perfect for those windy nights on the beach or roaming the town.

Thunder Tracks

This week’s For the SoUle brings New Music Friday a new way to style. Shop our crewnecks oversized, to wear and style a sweater dress. This time, I added a matching beanie and cinched the sweater with a belt, for just a bit more shape. The sneakers colors are quite feminine, so though a chunky sneaker, we can keep it cute with styling and accessories.

Purple Floral Jumper

This is one of the few instances where I let me pants lay on top of my kicks. While it may not look like much, this is such a fun and flattering jumpsuit. The neckline is a deep-v, and sleeveless tied at the top of the back neck line. It also comes with a belt to cinch you in at the waist. Of course, the pant is a flared leg, which will lay nicely over the sneakers. The maroon and purple accents appear on the toe box, so they will peer through on your strut, and the chunky shape just gives your look that much more of an edge. Personally I’ve worn this look to paint night, so I would say any ladies night out will work.

The Little Black Sunflower Dress

One of the cutest dresses I have ever purchased, and of course I am going to make it sporty. The dress is totally velvet with sunflowers stitched all over them. With a hint of yellow in the dress, and different shades of blues and maroons in the sneakers, I tied them together with this multi-colored bucket hat. Bucket hats are a huge trend in the streetwear world, and the fashion trendy world, as well. This is the perfect way to tie the two pieces together that did not match perfectly from the jump.

Cute and Lacey

Can someone please take me to the winery already!? This dress is cute, flowy and flattering, with a bit of scandal with the deep-v neckline and lace waist. The blue pairs well with the shade in the sneakers, making it the perfect, girly sneaker head fit for anywhere you must go.
