The Number One Song in the World

Today on Instagram, Gunna posted a video on his phone, talking to Siri. He asked her to play the number one song in the world right now. Siri automatically went on to play 'Hot'by Young Thug and Gunna. My instant thought was - no way! In the world? Siri knows this? So yes, I absolutely tried it myself. I got the same results! Young Thug and Gunna, number one song in the world. I know this song is #1 on my Apple Music Rap Life playlist ... but I wasn't sure it was a number one song World Wide. 

I was reviewing a lot of the comments on Gunna's post. Lots of people said they were seeing the same thing, but others were saying a Post Malone song came up for them. I figured, if you're following Gunna on Instagram, you're probably a fan of hop-hop nonetheless. So, I asked my sister to ask Siri to play the number one song in the world; she likes country. (I know, someones adopted) Anyways, she tested it herself and "Somewhere Over The Rainbow"played. According to her, this song doesn't live on any of her playlists. But the vibe is definitely different and probably more inline with country music than hip-hop.

So basically, I'm thinking Siri knows your vibe, and and she's giving you whatever is most popping in your world at the moment. Give it a try. What'd you get? I think it's a fun test.
